Welcome to a New Artwrld

Join us for conversations with trailblazers building the future at the intersection of art and technology.

Hi there,

With all the frenetic transformation taking place at the intersection of art and technology, do you find it hard to tell what's worthy of your attention, what's lasting—what has actual value?

At Artwrld, we're obsessed with these questions. And we think we should investigate them together.

So, What Are We Up To?

In this time of extraordinary change, the optimists among us may feel like we're in the early days of a better future that is calling out to be built. The art world, with its aging institutions and untapped potential, is ripe for reinvention. We believe that cutting-edge innovation can help solve problems in the art ecosystem—and that great art, in turn, can fuel technological advancement.

At Artwrld, our mission is to bridge the gap between artists and technologists. We want to foster collaboration, break down barriers, and explore new ideas that challenge conventional definitions of art—while at the same time extending the complex magic of the art world into the new era.

How? Let's Talk It Through in Our New Conversation Series

As a phase one, we’re launching a series of live dialogues with leading artists, technologists, art professionals, and entrepreneurs to explore the opportunities and challenges at the crossroads of art and innovation.

Our talks will be held on Zoom every Thursday this fall, with Q&A sessions to follow—we hope you'll join the conversation. If you can’t attend live, a podcast version will be available afterward.

First Up? Jennifer & Kevin McCoy on the Value of Digital Art

We’re excited to kick off our series by talking to Jennifer and Kevin McCoy about the evolving nature of value in digital art. The McCoys are pioneers in this space, with Kevin having co-invented the NFT in 2014. This September, they’ll debut a machine that will autonomously create artworks in a New York gallery. After the shocks of blockchain art and AI image-making, is the market ready for robot artists?

Ok, let's start the journey.
